Spring Harvest

Spring has Sprung in Oxnard, CA

We are excited about the spring harvest even though we still receive the occasional rain showers in our growing districts. We are hopeful that the sun will emerge - and the rain-rain will go away!! Enjoy those big beautiful berries coming your way.

Just wanted to find out what you do with the strawberries that allows them to stay fresh for so long. I was a way last week and came home to find that my 1 week old strawberries were as fresh as the day I bought them! And tasted good too!
Is there a process that you use to help the plants produce better and longer lasting fruit?

    Hi Donna

Glad you enjoyed our berries. There is no real process we use to help keep the berries better and longer. If berries have proper care and handling all the way through the system, they will last up to 10 days. They just need to be refrigerated & dry.

For other handling tipe on our berries, please review our website - thanks for taking the time to write to us.

I must admit that the strawberries have been tastier this year then in years past. YUUUUMM!!! The berries are also bigger then normal, but still nothing beats how delicious they were! Keeping coming Danny O' Manny.
