Try our Strawberry Salsa

Here is a great new recipe for our fresh strawberries. It is very simple to make with just a handful of ingredients and the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. I just made it for a family get together and the whole bowl of salsa was gone in 15 minutes with requests for more!

The only tip I have to offer is not to mix the whole recipe too far in advance otherwise the berries get a little mushy. You can mix the other ingedients together ahead of time, then about 30 minutes or so before serving throw the berries in. Enjoy!!

It's Spring in California

Spring has officially arrived in California bringing big beautiful delicious strawberries to California Giant Berry Farms. Our farms in Oxnard, Santa Maria and Watsonville are all harvesting berries just in time for your spring celebrations.

Try dipping stem berries in your favorite melted chocolate for an easy but elegant treat for family and friends. Serve a bowl of fresh berries with sour cream and brown sugar on the side for dipping. Take fresh strawberries to kids baseball or soccer games for a post game snack to re-energize the team.

Summer Berries are here early

(June 2, 2006) Spring has finally arrived and brought summer with it! We have had some beautiful California weather here lately and the berries love it. We look forward to a long happy harvest season though the summer and into the fall if Mother Nature cooperates. We hope you enjoy them all year.
